DESCRIPTION

This symposium will be held on 1st June 2015 at the Université Pierre et Marie Curie.

This symposium focus on the interactions between nuclear and organelle genomes, but also between genomes of different species. These questions will be addressed by genomic approaches in order to get both mechanistic, functional and evolutionary perspectives. The topics will include :

Chloroplast and nuclear genomes

Mitochondrial and nuclear genomes

Evolution of viruses and unicellular organisms

Endosymbiosis  bacteria / eukaryotes
